Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Farm Hand Laborer job available on this family owned Watrous, New Mexico farm and ranch. This year round entry level position will assist in the production of alfalfa and winter wheat on 850 acres.
The farm is irrigated with both flood and circle systems. The operation also runs 1500 steers from May 1st to October 1st on gamagrass pastures.
Spanish speaking required, English is not necessary but would be a plus. This job would be a great fit for someone who speaks Spanish and would be at home in a rural north eastern New Mexico majority Hispanic community.
Benefits include separate housing on the property and insurance benefits, a vehicle to drive from home to work, 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, and standard sick leave and Christmas bonus.
Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
