    We are currently looking for a Full Time Soft Count Supervisor to join our team located at the Lakecrest Hotel and Casino
    Summary:

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

    • Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
    • Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment

    • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics

    • Maintain knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
    • Prepares weekly reports
    • Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
    • Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
    • Participates in candidate selection process
    • Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
    • Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
    • Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
    • Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
    • Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
    • Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
    • May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
    • Coordinates with other departments or outside vendors as needed to facilitate changes to gaming floor layout in relation to the drop/pull process, opening/closing of machines, or departmental machine repair
    • Maintains an accurate count and the highest security for all transactions and ensure the supervision of the count and verification of all monies brought in from the gaming floor to uphold compliance standards
    • Reviews and approves departmental paperwork completed by employees by verifying the accuracy of monies and chips received during the facility pull of electronic gaming machine and card game chips
    • Tabulates all cash and chips from spreadsheet received from fills/credits, electronic games, and card games submitted by Soft Count employees
    • Communicates employee concerns to the next level supervision or management and participates in investigations while maintaining confidentiality; effectively resolves all minor concerns or complaints
    • Schedules staff based on worker availability and arrange for contingency staff based on business needs and/or guest satisfaction standards on designated shift and redirects the labor force according to changing activity during a shift
    • Conducts hire, separation, and performance reviews of subordinates
    • All other duties as assigned
