Inventory Count Associate - (2PM-11PM)

Job Summary

The Inventory Count Associate will work directly with a team of like minded individuals who collaborate to achieve one final outcome: accuracy. In a nutshell, upholding accuracy ensures that our customers get their orders correctly the first time. By following established cycle count schedules, abiding by set standard operating procedures, properly reconciling variances, identifying trends, and communicating any discrepancies, the Inventory Count Associate will contribute to their team and FCP Euro’s success.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Section Maintenance
  • Replace boxed locations that are damaged, missing, or have lost their structural integrity
  • Product Facing - Inventory is easily accessible 
•  Part Verification
  • Ensure the inventory in each location is correct by referencing part numbers, descriptions and the FCP Euro Catalog
  • Isolate incorrect inventory, identify the correct location, properly locate the inventory, and audit the location
•  Location Consolidation
  • Reduce excessive overstock locations within each facility - downstock where applicable
  • Review work logs: SKUs in Multiple Locations, SKUs Outside of Default Locations, Unknown Location
• Cycle Counts
  • Adhere to Cycle Count SOP and best practices
  • Perform cycle counts according to cycle count calendar
  • Attend all major cycle count events
• Reconciliation and Audits
  • Assist the Count Lead with the reconciliation process
  • This includes research, location and section audits, recounts and adjustments

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior inventory and warehousing experience
• Strong Excel and Google Suites knowledge
• Prior WMS (or similar ERP) experience
• Demonstrates a healthy sense of urgency
• Adheres to safety standards
• Is calm under pressure and can balance conflicting demands
• Works well around colleagues in crowded spaces
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Shows incredible attention to detail
• Growth and learning mindset, adaptable, & flexible
• Ability to Be Trained On Warehouse Machinery

Compensation

• The Inventory Count Associate position offers a salary range of $18hr and up, depending on experience.
