JOB SUMMARY

Wausau Tile Inc. employs hundreds of talented, dedicated employees, whom we depend on to deliver the high-quality products and services that set us apart from our competition. Our project managers are key point of contact for our clients who provide pre and post sales expertise. This position collaborates with other teams including development, design, production, quality and senior management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary contact for customers inquires and requests.
• Effectively communicate via phone, virtual meetings, and e-mail.
• Attention to detail in verifying and entering information.
• Review the customer’s budget and communicate their expectations internally.
• Evaluate the bidding process and review pricing as needed.
• Must be able to interpret architectural & steel drawings to fit our product’s needs.
• Coordinate the shop drawing and sample approval process.
• Provide direction to the Design and Production teams.
• Track progress and provide updates to the customer.
• Attend daily, or weekly, production meetings regarding schedule and time constraints.
• Regularly follow up with customers either verbally or in writing to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate shipment of materials with the customer.
• Follow up and follow through with the customer to close out the project.
• Utilize ERP system and Microsoft suite as needed to research, analyze and communicate information.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• 3-5 years’ experience in Customer Service, Sales or related function within a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ethics.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
• Capable of superior performance with little supervision and able to work individually and in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Ability to travel as needed (limited)

PREFERRED

· Associates degree in business or related field is a plus.
