SUMMARY

Split shift Warehouse Associate

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate (WA) is to accurately and productively satisfy customer requests, pull orders, handle returns, and maintain inventory integrity. The WA will effectively operate all machinery and equipment by demonstrating excellent housekeeping, safety and organizational controls in an appropriate, timely manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor:

• To accurately pull, stage, and securely package orders based on delivery date and shipping method
• To accurately pull tile for the other Company departments
• To utilize shipping software and/or documentation in the creation of shipping labels
• To utilize customer/inventory software and create pulling labels and packing slips
• To demonstrate superior customer care skills
• To safely and efficiently operate moving equipment
• To check and manage order accuracy
• To report inventory counts, inaccuracies and damages to the Warehouse Supervisor
• To consolidate pallets and put away materials
• To collaborate with team members to create efficiencies
• To demonstrate continuous, excellent safety conscientiousness by following safety standards in all work areas
• To safely load delivery trucks based on routing schedule and weight distribution ratios
• To continuously maintain exemplary housekeeping standards
• To follow company policies and procedures, including best practices guidelines and workplace ethics
• To perform other duties as assigned
