Hardware Engineer jobs in Columbia, SC

We are looking for a hardworking, talented, and organized individual to join our company as our Hardware Specialist in our Sandy Run, South Carolina Distribution Plant. The Hardware Specialist will be responsible for ensuring hardware orders are properly created, fulfilled, and shipped on time and in full.

Duties of the Hardware Specialist include but are not limited to the following:

• Organize hardware inventory, stock labeled shelves, and maintains a safe and clean working area
• Take ownership of hardware overstock area and make sure stock is rotated.
• Examine picking tickets in order to identify potential errors (takeoff or order entry)
• Pulls and boxes orders accurately
• Keys locks as necessary for order completion and record key number for each job by builder

Requirements:

• Material knowledge preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds with repetitive walking, climbing, and bending.
• Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize time and responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
