    Job Description:

    As a proficient electrical engineer at Adjutant Solutions Group (ASG), your role involves a combination of technical expertise and project management skills. You will be responsible for designing, developing, prototyping, hardware, firmware design, testing (Hardware/Firmware), and documentation. Your responsibilities include the creation of electrical schematics, component footprints, PCB layout, searching for the suitable electrical components for the design, conducting electrical calculations, exploring and implementing the proper IEC/UL, FCC, ISO, etc., standards performing tests and inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues in the hardware as well as firmware of the design and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations and maintaining electrical systems and components. As a proficient electrical engineer, you may also be involved in project planning and coordination. This could include collaborating with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other team members, such as technicians or contractors, to ensure the successful execution of electrical projects on schedule and budget. You may also be responsible for adhering to safety standards and regulations and managing project timelines and budgets. Overall, your role as an electrical engineer requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to communicate and collaborate with others to achieve project goals effectively. 


    Key responsibilities: 

    • Leading the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
    • Creating and reviewing electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications.
    • Creating flowcharts for firmware design, software libraries, and state machines for a project if required. 
    • Understanding firmware development principles. Executing a level understanding of Agile methodologies. 
    • Understanding project management principles and stage gate process.
    • Conducting research and analysis to support design decisions and problem-solving.
    • Selecting and procuring electrical components and materials.
    • Managing and overseeing (HW/SW) prototype development and testing.
    • Troubleshooting and providing technical support for complex electrical systems.
    • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
    • Documenting and maintaining technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, PMO, and softwareengineers, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.  
    • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.


    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must be a team Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration, challenge resolution, communication effectiveness, urgency negotiation, organization priorities, accountability, and work product integrity.                   
    • Expertise in Micro Processor Units, LAN/WAN communications equipment, analog and digital sensors, analog and digital actuators, signal processing, wireless communications, DC connectivity


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering or relevant degree
    • 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a relevant role.

    • Strong understanding of microcontrollers, PLCs, and control systems.
    • Proficient programming skills (e.g., C, Python) for embedded systems and automation.
    • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Effective project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
