    Engineering Hardware Program Manager Pay and Benefits:

    • Hourly pay: $45/hr

    • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

    Engineering Hardware Program Manager Responsibilities:

    • Perform program management activities within a program team.
    • Collaborate and communicate across multiple teams and functions within the organization.
    • Work with Microsoft engineering teams, business teams, and external technology partners to support server hardware programs and underlying technical building blocks from a set of written requirements to product launch. • Adeptly, drive planning and execution rigor cross-organizationally.
    • Define requirements, and actions, and prioritize deliverables with the Customer in mind to deliver the product within the allotted time period and with expected quality.
    • Successfully meet or exceed committed Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
    • Personally navigate and skillfully lead others through complex, interrelated technical challenges and business issues to deliver impactful results.
    • Provide timely reporting of program status with all necessary supporting details to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
    • Exercise technical judgment and influence to ensure alignment with related products and technology.
    • Combine demonstrable strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for cloud-scale services.
    • Work directly with partner teams to ensure multi-sourcing new server products (subsystems/full system) meet production specifications for high volume cloud hardware deployments.
    • Ensure delivery of the highest quality standard to our customers.

    Engineering Hardware Program Manager Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in hardware product development, preferably in the server or rack infrastructure industry.
    • 5 years of Technical Program Management experience.
    • 5 years of Program Management in Hardware Development.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant discipline, with practical experience in hardware or software design, sustaining engineering, reliability testing, platform system engineering and/or technical analysis.
    • Experience and years spent in HW Development organizations and with Program Management that involves Supplier (ODM) engagement.
    • Proven experience prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven program management experience from New Product Introduction (NPI) to post-product launch.
    • Proven program leadership and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
