Hardware Engineering Director directs and oversees all aspects of hardware engineering activities within an organization. Establishes policies and procedures that produce high-quality hardware products. Being a Hardware Engineering Director ensures all hardware engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established polices and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hardware Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Hardware Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Hardware Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. - Proficiency in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and system administration
- Experience with Angular and .NET frameworks
- Ability to vaticinate technical challenges and provide innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
