Hardware Engineering Director directs and oversees all aspects of hardware engineering activities within an organization. Establishes policies and procedures that produce high-quality hardware products. Being a Hardware Engineering Director ensures all hardware engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established polices and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hardware Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Hardware Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Hardware Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Responsibilities and Duties
The Civil Engineering Technician shall be responsible for producing construction plans and other technical drawings for site development projects. Job tasks consist of setting up drawings per company standards, drafting redlines in coordination with engineers, back-checking work for completeness and accuracy, and managing plan sets and associated revisions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in drafting/designing site development projects using Civil 3D, surface modeling, corridors, pipe networks, dynamics labeling and plan production functions.
- Minimum 5 years Civil 3D and AutoCAD drafting experience.
- A 2-year Civil Tech Degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A personal commitment to excellence.
