Establishes policies and procedures that produce high-quality hardware products. Being a Hardware Engineering Director ensures all hardware engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established polices and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hardware Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Hardware Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Hardware Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     • Ensure your team is equipped with the latest capabilities and know-how to design, build and test hardware.
    • Recruit world-class talent



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5 years of people management experience in multi-disciplinary global technology development teams, including building high-performing teams and organization
    • 10 years of engineering work experience, including 5 years experience of hands-on technical management
    • Experience thinking strategically and executing methodically in an entrepreneurial environment Collaboration and relationship-building experience, working with all levels of management and individual contributors internally and externally
    • BS in engineering or related field or relevant experience



    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS in engineering or related field
