Job Responsibilities:

• Achieving sales targets and profit plans by controlling expenses, inventory, and growing net contribution.
• Working with the Sales Team as a contributor to overall Regional Sales Targets.
• Ensuring that high customer service standards are maintained, and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved.
• Greet and advise customers on the selection of products and their uses.
• Assist customers over the phone with questions/orders.
• Manage miscellaneous tasks around the store such as stocking, cleaning, organizing, filing, etc.
• Assist with paint department needs as needed.
• Oversees and ensures the efficiency of all daily operational procedures.
• Participate in the department hiring, promotion, and review process while managing, mentoring, and improving staff performance.
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Previous management experience is a plus
• Must be a team player and demonstrate positive teamwork skills and multi-tasking
• Excellent customer service skills and reliability
• Ability to coach, provide feedback, and resolve conflict.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store team.
• Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving & planning skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and cash handling / cashiering skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
• High school diploma or comparable certification (GED), some college preferred.
• Commitment to ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to company policies
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which can include Saturdays to meet business demands.

Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug test and/or MVR check, as applicable to the role.

This job requires standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, gripping, reaching overhead, lifting, climbing stairs, gripping, and carrying the product to and from delivery vehicles frequently.
