Hardware Assembly Engineering Apprentice 

Full-time Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $20.00

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is actively seeking a Hardware Assembly Engineering Apprentice personnel to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position in Manassas, Virginia. Engineering experience is not required, as this individual will undergo one year of hands-on training by a field Subject Matter Expert (SME).  

Job Duties:

• Perform a variety of tasks to include analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking
• Conduct troubleshooting and testing using procedures
• Install hardware into server racks, be able to lift 40 pounds off the ground, and be able to work on a ladder
• Communicate status and issue effectively to team leads

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma, or GED equivalent 
• Working knowledge with hardware stand-up (can build their own personal computer)
• Ability to read and understand technical information, system level diagrams, PowerPoint packages, and drawings
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance  

Optional Skills:

• Working knowledge of Linux command line
• Understanding of networking protocols
• Working knowledge of server and switch installation and loading
