    Job Summary and Qualifications

    Seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.     What you will do in this role:

    • You will administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and modality treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, ultraviolet, infrared and hot/cold packs
    • You will administer traction to relieve neck and back pain
    • You will instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation/ambulation, transfer, and daily living activities
    • You will observe and report patients’ response and progress to treatments to the Physical Therapist
    • You will fit patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train patients in use and care


    What Qualifications you will need:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or a related field is required
    • 1 year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer is highly preferred

    • Active and unrevoked certification from the National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) is required
