About this Position: Tang & Company’s division, CAREonsite Medical Services, is looking for an On-Site Athletic Trainer to manage a client's wellness support and prevention program for industrial athletes. This position will also have involvement with other Athletic Trainers as a resource to learn, grow, and develop within the industrial athletic training space. The ideal candidate for this position should be motivated to grow and advance in the occupational health space.
Narrative Description: Tang & Company’s On-Site Athletic Trainer will work with our client to provide onsite industrial/occupational health athletic training services.
Team Support:
Medical oversight provided by the Medical Director
Network of Athletic Trainers and Providers for collaboration
Essential Job Functions:
Provide & manage patient care within the athletic training scope of practice and any applicable athletic training state practice act. The On-Site Athletic Trainer will provide:
Risk Reduction, Wellness and Health Literacy as applicable to the client.
Assessment, Evaluation and Diagnosis
Critical Incident Management
Therapeutic Intervention
Health Care Administration and Professional Responsibility as applicable to the client.
Athletic Trainer will drive a wellness program specific to client needs.
Maintain a visual presence for the client’s employees to be available when needed.
Maintain effective communication lines with client EHS, HR, Work Comp, and Operational Leadership.
Integrate with the client and participates in client meetings and committees.
Assists clients to establish strategic goals that match CAREonsite services.
Build, develop, manage, and present training, educational programs, etc. as the client requests.
Documents patient treatment per professional and regulatory standards and ensures the security of sensitive records is maintained at all times.
Marginal Job Functions:
Assist the client’s environmental health and safety team as needed with miscellaneous activities.
Join the client's employees during day-to-day activities as seen fit with client permission.
Provide ideas, thoughts, and opinions to CAREonsite leadership on the expansion of the growing CAREonsite athletic trainer service.
Required Qualifications:
State Athletic Training Licensure or Eligibility for State Athletic Training Licensure.
Active Basic Life Support & CPR certification
Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to patient’s needs
Ability to work without direct supervision
Desirable Skills:
Business to business client relations.
Critical thinking to develop creative solutions.
