POSITION SUMMARY: Image Librarian is responsible for providing support for access to images for interpretation and review by radiologists, referring physicians, and physicians involved in continuum of care of patients. Supports the daily operation of image interpretation/management and transfer, including preparation of soft copy image display, retrieving digital images for interpretation, and assisting customers with obtaining patient information and images. Plays a vital role in customer service for the Imaging Department. May perform a variety of general office tasks.
