Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Circulation Manager, performs specialized circulations functions and under the general supervision of the Government Documents Library Technician, performs specialized Government Documents functions. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Academic Library Operations
- Experience working with minimal supervision and in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
- Experience using computer software and applications for word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet research
- Experience entering and retrieving data using computerized record systems
- Experience editing and writing business correspondence using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of experience working in an academic library.
- Experience and/or education working with library bibliographic records.
- Experience with integrated library systems.
- Experience with library computer software.
- Experience with MARC format, AACR2 and/or RDA cataloging formats.
- Commitment to continuous learning and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or otherwise move materials weighing approximately 30 pounds.
