Head Coach (Major Sport) oversees all activities of a major athletic team. Plans and directs training of student athletes, and assesses individuals' abilities and skill level to determine appropriate team position. Being a Head Coach (Major Sport) analyzing opposition team performance and capabilities and determines game strategy. Assists players in reaching highest athletic potential possible through athletic training and leadership skills. Additionally, Head Coach (Major Sport) must be familiar with NCAA rules and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in the related area. Typically reports to a institutional officer. Head Coach (Major Sport) is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Major League Football, a NEW professional Fall Football starting Fall 2024 is currently hiring General Managers for each of our 24 franchises throughout the country. Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Selling corporate sponsorships for your franchise and maintaining the relationship with each sponsor
- Promoting ticket sales
- Managing the day to day operations of the franchise
- Managing the franchise budget
- Working day to day with the coaching staff
- Establishing and maintaining a relationship with the facility/stadium in your franchise market
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three years of outside sales and management experience. Compensation is 25% Commission of all of your corporate partnership sales until the season starts in September 2024. At that point you would earn an annual salary of $150K salary plus continued commission of corporate partnership sales. Interested applicants must be in a stable financial position to allow them to prospect and sell corporate sponsorships until the start of the season.
