Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and critical care unit staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of critical care unit patient clinical records, and writes reports on critical care unit staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - CCU maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - CCU typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - CCU manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - CCU typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. What you will do in this role:
You will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
You will properly record patient information and maintain EHR
You will perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment
You may assist with general patient care if needed
What Qualifications you will need:
Must hold a degree from an accredited school for Radiology Technology
2 years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology is required
Minimum of 2 years basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work is required
Must have a current ARRT license
TENNESSEE ONLY: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic
