Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and critical care unit staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of critical care unit patient clinical records, and writes reports on critical care unit staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - CCU maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - CCU typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - CCU manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Paraprofessional: Part-time, part-year, working 16 hours a week, August-May. Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Position Purpose: The Paraprofessional duties are supervising, supporting, and monitoring student behavior during daily activities, especially transitions (meals, playground, hallways and walks, and nap time). The position fluctuates between direct, one-on-one assistance and background support.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a classroom setting and be open and willing to accommodate unique needs in an inclusive environment.
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $15.16 - $16.57.
