The Clinical Manager of Cardiac Critical Care Unit CICU and Telemetry Department will be responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the critical care and progressive care unit. The Nursing Manager of CVICU and Telemetry will manage the clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
Reporting to the ACNO and Nursing Director of Critical Care, the Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CICU and Telemetry must have at least 5 years of critical care management experience and have experience working with open heart and balloon pump patients in order to be credible with the staff. The Critical Care Unit CCU and Telemetry Nurse Manager will have 24 hour responsibility for 25 bed Critical Care Unit and 14 bed Progressive Care (step down) Unit.
