Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and emergency room staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of emergency room patient clinical records, and writes reports on emergency room staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Emergency Room maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Emergency Room typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Emergency Room manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Join our Emergency Room team as a Veterinary Assistant! Help aide the treatment of animals by running diagnostic lab tests, taking digital radiographs, holding patients for exams, setting up for surgical procedures, cleaning and sterilizing surgical tools, and much more! Veterinary Assistants will also gain experience working with neurology, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, rehabilitation and ophthalmology cases. It is a great field to develop your skills and there is always something new and exciting to learn in our spacious conference room where we host continuing education for veterinarians, nurses and assistants.
