Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Day Shifts or Night Shifts. Availability varies and will be confirmed at the time of the interview.

The role you’ll contribute: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Provides all aspects of therapeutic nursing care, based on established standards. Demonstrates competency in all procedures within the scope of practice, as appropriate to the ages of the patients served: Neonate, Child, Adolescent.
• Physically assesses each patient and identifies needs/problems within the time frame established in nursing standards and protocols.
• Develops and documents a plan of care for all patients, based on the medical and nursing diagnoses identified during the initial assessment.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the plan of care and makes revisions on an on-going basis.
• Provides for a safe and supportive environment for all patients, families and co-workers.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Florida RN license required.
  • Must have PEDS experience
  
  

• Preferred qualifications:
  • At least one year experience in an area of Pediatric Nursing preferred
