Machine Technician
Pittman Industrial Marketing, Inc. is seeking a full time machine technician to install, repair and train in machinery processes. Primary responsibilities include new machine installation and start-up, preventive maintenance, and service. Training is provided for the right candidate.

The successful candidate’s background will include:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical trouble shooting capabilities
• Good communication skills/phone skills (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SF.com
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license (required)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all customers in the southeastern USA.
• Maintains existing and builds new customer relationships with key decision makers on all levels of the client organization.
• Prospecting new service accounts, maintaining current customers, and increasing opportunities with existing accounts.
• Maintain customer records, contacts, files and reports, using CRM
• Ensure high levels of customer service and resolution to customer problems.
• Participate in customer and company events, training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% covering territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
