Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Verifies and Audits all items for purchase orders from vendors and sales order shipments
• Stock new inventory and  maintain current inventory.
• Prepare and pack orders for shipment via Ground or LTL 
• Carefully and accurately maintains receiving and shipping records for requested categories.
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Performs other warehouse and  clerical duties.
• Potential opportunity to train for Inside Sales
• If driving record acceptable,  may be required to make local customer deliveries
• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Present a professional image at all times.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a mixed use office/industrial building. The office is a smoking/drug free environment.

Physical Demands: 

Certain duties also require standing, walking, and carrying. This position does require the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing an average of 30-40 lbs/box.

Benefits:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; with a 60 minute unpaid lunch. 40 hours per week.  In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives and all other benefits available to all full time employees, including participation in health/dental/vision/group life/long-term-disability insurance plans, 401k, paid holidays and vacation

Requirements

• Must be safety conscious
• Previous warehouse experience a plus
• Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Possess experience with warehouse equipment (pallet stacker & strapper and pallet jack) 
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet. Eclipse system is a plus.
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced changing and dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Works well in a group/team setting with limited amounts of supervision.
