Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Industrial typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Industrial Networking Solutions (INS) is seeking a highly motivated and accountable associate for an Electrical Technician position within our field services group. INS Services provides our customers with the confidence that their network (wired or wireless) is manageable, expandable, reliable, and secure. INS Services designs, deploys, and supports open-architecture solutions for the manufacturing floor, process control systems and municipal control markets.     This position is responsible for the technical support, technical solution and development for systems that promote the customer’s ruggedized networking strategy. INS engineered solutions will be in support of our customer’s culture of high quality, affordable, reliable, and secure products. This position will frequently collaborate with INS engineers and customers for the best solution, and interface directly with operational leaders.
    Location
    INS HQ - Richardson, TX office – Must live in Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area or be willing to relocate. There is no relocation package for this position.
    Qualifications
    • Two-year technical degree in electronics, instrumentation, industrial controls, or robotics
      • OR 5 plus years demonstrable experience in electronics instrumentation, industrial controls or robotics may be substituted for education requirement.
    • Journeyman Electrician License - required
    • 2-5 years industrial experience - required
    • Able to lift 30-40 pounds - required
    • Ability to operate man lifts - required
    Responsibilities
    • Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Work in a neat and orderly manner and be responsible for safety and good housekeeping at all times.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
    • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
    • Works with various types of tools, gauges, measuring equipment.
    • Diagnoses electrical system performance through observation, testing and setup.
    • Responsible for the installation of Ethernet networking electrical systems in the customer commercial and industrial locations.
    • Knowledge of installation, testing, and troubleshooting of Ethernet cabling CAT5/6 and fiber optic.
    • Fabricate network panels to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel, wiring of all components, installation of network control panels at customer industrial locations, and point-to-point testing to ensure proper wiring.
    • Test, inspect, calibrate, install, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital instrumentation and monitoring devices such as Level Indicators, Flow Meters, Scales, Viscometers, Densimeters, Pressure Transducers, Thermocouples and Motion Control equipment.
    • Some experience working with infrared, ultrasonic, and other applicable predictive technologies.
    • Participate in continuing professional development and training processes.

    This position requires technical collaboration and an understanding of emerging technologies for unique solutions. This position requires an understanding and appreciation of multiple job roles, and frequently requires a team effort with sales, operations, management, IT and other engineering disciplines. This position must provide effective and positive feedback to INS team members on difficult solutions and must be able to describe technical requirements to other team members for a successful solution.
