Job Summary:

FDT- Paint Shop is seeking an entry level Coating Applicator for industrial coatings and applications. This shop position applies high performance coatings, such as FBE powder coatings, epoxies, polyurethanes, and zinc rich coating systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks in confined and elevated workspaces
• Prepares and racks manufactured products for powder coating
• Organizes parts to be painted and or powder coated •May use industrial powder coating ovens to cure powder coated products
• Cleaning and maintaining of application equipment

Key Requirements and Education Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Math be able to calculate ratios
• 1 yr. Coating Applicator experience is preferred
• Should understand application coating equipment adjustments and maintenance
• Ability to meet deadlines, effectively prioritize and deliver all tasks on time
• Requires working in confined and elevated workspaces
• Must be able to work varying schedules prefer ability to work either day or evening shift and transition to either to meet client/customer demands
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 40lbs

Travel:

• Periodic travel may be required
