THE POSITION:
Position responsible for maintenance on the building and equipment of the facility. Keeps all jigs and robots in working order. This includes preventative maintenance and repairs. Responsible for ensuring safety standards are met by employees. Involved in training, scheduling and coaching team members. Ensures that work orders are completed on time. Position is also responsible for ensuring employee participation in the Kaizen program. This position requires regular and reliable attendance and overtime to meet production needs. Responsible for completing tasks or assignment in a timely manner as designated.
Must have knowledge of tools, machines, welding, stamping, and manufacturing. Responsible for making minor and major repairs to facility and equipment. Responsible for removal of old equipment and installation of new equipment. Required to maintain and repair machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
EDUCATION, SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE:
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is that of a warehouse with a lot of noise, and exposure to fumes and dust. This position requires working independently as well as a part of a group with minimal supervision. This position requires the individual to be subject to cold, hot and humid building conditions. This position requires a stringent work schedule in an extremely fast paced environment.
