Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Summary
This Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is assigned to the department of Head and Neck Medical Oncology. In collaboration with the supervising physician and the administrative supervisor, the NP cares for patients receiving treatment for head and neck cancers. The NP provides clinical guidance for patients receiving systemic therapy for head and neck malignancies including management of treatment toxicities, management of oncologic emergencies, symptom management, care coordination, assistance with triage, and other duties as assigned.
One of the following National NP Board Certifications are required for this role: AGNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, GNP-C, GNP-BC, or ACNPC.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

Clinical services encompass adult and pediatric tumors across three campuses as well as regional satellite locations.
