Head Nurse plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate: $18.13 hourly

This position is responsible for the Secretarial/Administrative activities of the program. This position is responsible for the smooth operations of an office and other duties related to administration including answering phones, filing, etc. Performs all duties as required by the Program Director and/or immediate supervisor and other duties as assigned relating to the administrative component including, policy and procedure updates, typing, word processing, faxing, acting as receptionist and other clerical duties. May also occasionally help with HR, Fiscal, In-kind and other duties.
Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED with some relevant experience secretarial functions. AA degree or higher in related field preferred. The individual must possess a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The position must have the ability to manage numerous tasks, possess good organizational skills, communicate effectively with co-workers and the public, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Schedule: Full-Time, 7:30pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
