Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Requires a valid state RN license. Typically reports to a top management. The Head Nurse - Nursing Home manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Nursing Home typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role and Responsibilities:
- π‘ Deliver exceptional at-home infusion care to patients in Atlanta, focusing on personalized treatment.
- π Administer and manage IVIG and other specialized infusion treatments.
- π Conduct ongoing patient health assessments, adapting treatment plans as needed.
- π Ensure meticulous documentation of all treatment activities in EMR, adhering to healthcare compliance.
- π€ Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- π§° Maintain and manage infusion equipment, upholding high standards of care.
- π Educate patients and their families on infusion therapies and overall health management.
Qualifications:
- π Nursing degree with substantial experience as an RN, or relevant experience as an IV Certified LVN/LPN.
- π Valid RN license in Georgia.
- β€οΈ Current CPR/BLS certification.
- π Available for local travel within the Atlanta area.
- π» Proficiency in using EMR and other healthcare software.
- π Commitment to providing care in the Atlanta community.
