Head Nurse - Nursing Home plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a nursing home. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Requires a valid state RN license. Typically reports to a top management. The Head Nurse - Nursing Home manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Nursing Home typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. 63 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility in search of nurse to become part of a team who provides individualized attention to each resident in order to attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Competitive pay rate based on years of experience with Shift diff of $1.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.
Would be the Nurse Supervisor in the building on Saturdays/Sundays. Could be part-time position or Baylor Shifts (consists of working 16hrs/day Sat and Sun only and off Mon-Fri) if interested in full-time hours/ benefits.
Part-time only, 7a-3p shifts or 11p-7a shifts available every other weekend.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
