This part-time position is 16-24 hours per week.
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him or her during his or her shift. He or she provides nursing services following the patient’s treatment plan or physician’s directions, assesses patients and responds to and reports any changes in condition, distributes and charts medications, and responds to emergencies.
The ideal candidate has a current and unencumbered license as an LVN in this state, certification in CPR/AED/First Aid, and at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a long term care setting or assisted living community. Candidates must have a genuine desire to help others, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and proficient computer skills.
