OVERVIEW:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled rehabilitation nursing home setting. The RN will work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate and implement individualized care plans for each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care to residents, including administering medications, perform treatments, procedures, and monitor vital signs
• Communicate with residents & their family to ensure that needs are met
• Provide education to residents and families about care and treatment
• Document residents’ progress in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and advances within nursing care
• Admit new residents & assist physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
• Assign and delegate duties to non-licensed nursing staff
• Perform ongoing assessment of residents’ physical and mental health

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Travel nursing

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
