Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Requires a valid state RN license. Typically reports to a top management. The Head Nurse - Nursing Home manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Nursing Home typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Overview:
We're in search of compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our Nevada team and make a positive impact on clients' lives. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing individuals' independence and overall well-being in the familiar surroundings of their homes.
Responsibilities:- Provide personalized care to clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises to promote physical well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as needed
- Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each client
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA License
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, bending, and providing personal care
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation)
