Head Nurse - Nursing Home plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a nursing home. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Requires a valid state RN license. Typically reports to a top management. The Head Nurse - Nursing Home manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Nursing Home typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Alliance Nursing provides critical nursing services called private duty nursing to infants, children and adults with complex medical and developmental conditions who may require mechanical ventilation to breathe, tracheostomy care, and nursing interventions. Nurses will be clinically competent while delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Nurses will effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Current Washington State Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse license without restrictions | RN or LPN
