Head Nurse - Nursing Home plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a nursing home. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Being a Head Nurse - Nursing Home ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse - Nursing Home requires a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Requires a valid state RN license. Typically reports to a top management. The Head Nurse - Nursing Home manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Nursing Home typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Infusion nurses perform nursing-related procedures within patient homes and in the ambulatory infusion suite in compliance with regulatory and industry standards and organizational policies and procedures. The infusion nurse provides direct patient care to infusion therapy patients and is responsible to assess actual and potential patient problems, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in coordination with the pharmacist.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing with State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or alternate site IV therapy
- Good Interactive skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources and patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IV Certification (i.e. CRNI) or other infusion related certification.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
