Head Nurse - Obstetrics directs nursing service activities for assigned patients in the delivery room and birthing units. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and obstetrics staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of obstetrics patient clinical records, and writes reports on obstetrics room staff performance and services rendered. Being a Head Nurse - Obstetrics maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Head Nurse - Obstetrics requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Obstetrics manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. We are looking to hire a friendly Cook to prepare meals and to serve our Head Start children. Applicant will prepare hot items for breakfast and lunch.
Other food preparation duties include preparing fruit and vegetables and serving Head Start children swiftly and efficiently.
The Cook may prepare foods for infants and toddlers and / or preschool children following the USDA / CACFP standards. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age and have food preparation experience and be able to comply with any state food permit / health requirements.
Experience in quantity food preparation and inventory control is preferred. Previous Head Start / Early Head Start experience preferred.
This is an entry-level position requiring no education qualifications unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.
E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
Schedule : Full-Time, 40 hours, 5 days per week, 42 Weeks per year
