Head Nurse - Occupational Health jobs in Mesa, AZ

Onsite Registered Nurse Position $50-`/Hour

Founded in 1982, MBI Industrial Medicine, Inc. is an Arizona based company operating full service facilities staffed with medical professionals who provide the full spectrum of Occupational Injury Care and Occupational Medicine for employers and their employees.

• Part time, 7-10 hours/week. 6am-10:30am / 3pm-7:30pm
• Provide on-site occupational medicine and wellness duties.
• Provide onsite face-to-face customer coaching and support.
• Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities.
• Patient documentation as indicated via paper or EMR.
• Collaborate with customers to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support customers in achieving those goals.
• Empower customers to become an active participant in their own health outcomes.
• Assist patients in overcoming barriers to better health.
• May perform biometric screenings, including finger sticks, blood pressure, body composition, pulmonary function tests, visual screenings, audiograms, and drug/alcohol screening.
• Utilize biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with patient to drive to improve clinical outcomes.
• Knowledge of Covid-19 triage.
• Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens and best practices for exposures.
• Respirator questionnaire reviews.
• Review return to work clearances.
• Provide support for health-related site events, which include open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot events, health fairs, etc.

• Evaluate and treat minor musculoskeletal injuries, refer injuries to MBI office for further evaluation if indicated. Standing orders available for reference.
• Evaluate and treat minor wounds, refer wounds to MBI office for further evaluation if indicated.
• Assess immunization status and provide vaccinations if needed.
• Provide OTC medications as needed.
• Triage all injuries and treat if appropriate.
• Hold active and unencumbered AZ RN license.
