Part-Time Occupational Health Nurse (30 hr a week benefit eligible)

The Occupational Health Nurse will be responsible for the management, surveillance, and promotion of worker health. Functions as a resource for health-related information for all employees. Serves as a role model for health and safety practices.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Assess and treat (to the appropriate level of training) work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct a variety of employee health assessments and medical surveillance activities.
• Counsel employees regarding work and non-work-related health issues.
• Initiate and maintain appropriate employee health records.
• Coordinate employee conferences with company physician

Qualifications:

• Current State of Pennsylvania Registered Nurse with Occupational Health experience
• At least two years of experience in a hospital, clinic or physician office setting
• Willingness to obtain certification in Spirometry and Hearing Conservation
• Phlebotomy skills a plus
