Head Nurse - Occupational Health directs nursing service activities for occupational health services. Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace. Being a Head Nurse - Occupational Health conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any health or safety hazards. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Additionally, Head Nurse - Occupational Health coordinates the procurement, review, and project management of contracts and service agreements with outside vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Occupational Health manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Occupational Health typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. A uniquely independent role for an EMT interested in environmental and occupational health, the occupational health EMT assigned to Trident in Motley provides quality, personalized prevention, screening and health support for Trident employees on all shifts, while also providing a convenient and efficient connection to Lakewood’s healthcare.

Starting at $30/hour for all hours worked, no shift differential.

Join the Employee and Occupational Health team who serve both Lakewood employees through employee health as well as our corporate partners throughout the community! With regular touchpoints via team huddles and 1-on-1 meetings, you’ll maintain a strong connection to your LHS team while you serve on-site with the Trident team. At Trident, you’ll connect with the safety manager, HR and plant supervisors to support the health and wellness of Trident staff.
