Head Nurse - Occupational Health directs nursing service activities for occupational health services. Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace. Being a Head Nurse - Occupational Health conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any health or safety hazards. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Additionally, Head Nurse - Occupational Health coordinates the procurement, review, and project management of contracts and service agreements with outside vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Occupational Health manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We are currently hiring per diem RNs to visit patients in Orange County specifically in Santa Ana and surrounding areas. We are Hera Home Health, Inc. accredited home health agency servicing various counties in Southern California.
We are located in Northridge, CA, however, you do not need to be physically located near our office to be part of our team. We offer flexible schedules, training, complete PPE's and competitive pay. We also use a user-friendly EMR/web-based documentation and we concentrate patient assignments close to our nurses to minimize time in traffic.
you will be working with our highly qualified Clinical Management Team (RN Case Managers, Coordinators, and dedicated QA Team) to provide quality direct patient care, such as:
- Provides direct patient care under the direction/supervision of a registered nurse.
-Practices within the legal boundaries for licensed vocational nursing and accepts responsibility of the individual nursing actions, competence, decisions and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice.
