Head Nurse - Occupational Health directs nursing service activities for occupational health services. Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace. Being a Head Nurse - Occupational Health conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any health or safety hazards. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Additionally, Head Nurse - Occupational Health coordinates the procurement, review, and project management of contracts and service agreements with outside vendors. Your primary referral sources should include hospitals, physicians, senior retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, and the community at large. In addition you will have a strategic plan to identify opportunities for formal or contractual relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities, executing your territory sales plan with laser focus in coordination with operational and clinical leadership ensuring extraordinary customer service.
