Qualifications:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the perioperative (OR) setting.

• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire.

• CNOR certification preferred.

Job Details:

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will utilize your specialized skills to provide exceptional care to patients across various age groups, including adults, adolescents, geriatric, and pediatric populations. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that there is an adequate supply of stock and appropriate equipment available for each procedure or surgery in your assigned areas. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the post-procedure workload, which involves cleaning rooms, organizing supplies, and setting up for the next procedure. As a resource person, you will lend your expertise and delegate tasks based on the competency level of your fellow staff members. Furthermore, there may be opportunities for you to rotate to different areas outside of the Operating Room, performing duties that align with your demonstrated competency.
