Head Nurse - Operating Room directs nursing service activities for assigned patients in the operating room. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and operating room staff nurses. Being a Head Nurse - Operating Room supervises preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records and writes reports on operating room staff performance and services rendered. Maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Additionally, Head Nurse - Operating Room requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Responsible for cleaning, stocking and preparing assigned rooms and suites for use by hotel guests. Cleans public areas including the hotel lobby and Root 246 restaurant, and performs PM turndown of beds.
• Stocks Room Attendant carts and work stations with sheets, pillowcases, towels and all amenities.• Ensures rooms meet hotel standards prior to guest occupancy.• Cleans and prepares guest rooms prior to guest arrival, during their stay and upon check out, to help ensure that each guest is satisfied with the level of cleanliness and service.• Maintains prescribed standards of cleanliness for assigned areas using approved cleaning solutions and procedures.• Maintains security of keys assigned. • Turns in daily Room Attendant reports to Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager at end of shift.• Duties also include: vacuuming, sweeping, dusting all room surfaces, properly changing bed linens, sanitizing and cleaning bathrooms, mirrors, windows, fixtures and floors daily. • Supplies guest room with all amenities, linens, and special items as requested.• Stocks, cleans and maintains lobby and meeting rooms. • Reports linens and supplies used.• Reports status of rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Room Inspector in assigned manner for reselling.• Performs additional detailed or occasional cleaning as assigned.• Turns in articles left in room for “Lost and Found” handling following hotel procedures.• Adjusts room appliances to correct settings for guest comforts and hotel efficiency.• Reports any discrepancies in room status to Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.• Reports and writes maintenance orders as needed in work areas to Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.• Cleans the hotel lobby, pool area, offices and other common areas including dusting, vacuuming and furniture placement as assigned.• Polishes, dusts and/or cleans all sign displays, light fixtures, pictures and artwork in hotel lobby and corridors.• Performs related duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.• Housekeeping service experience preferred.• Excellent guest service skills required with the ability to communicate to guests.• Must be willing to learn and work well within a team. • Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.• Must be able to work independently.• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.• Native American hiring preference applies.
