PrimeSTAR Home Health is seeking a Part Time/PRN Psych Nurse to join our team of one of the fastest-growing Home Healths in North East Louisiana. This position will cover Monroe, LA and surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• patient teachings
• medication administration
• psychiatric assessments/management of psychiatric illnesses
• post-surgical care
• skilled nursing care / direct patient care
• patient follow-up
• OASIS Start of Care (SOC), regular SOC, admits & discharges
• Additional duties as assigned

Required experience:

• We are seeking nurses whose license is active and in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• Excellent clinical nursing skills and a background in ICU, ER, med/surg, or related skilled nursing care
• Experience with Home Health nursing a plus
• Willingness & ability to drive throughout our territory
