A Registered Nurse responsible for the coordination of quality improvement activities including the collection and monitoring of data related to clinical performance. Assists with employee education and survey preparation. Performs record audit as required to ensure accurate revenue capture and compliance with coding standards. Collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor to provide support to clinicians and consistent coverage for the clinical office. Ensures compliance with standards and regulatory requirements of CMS, the Joint Commission and OSHA.
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, BSN preferred. Valid North Carolina driver’s license. Must attend all hospital continuing education programs required of all employees. Must keep licensure current and continuing education is strongly suggested. Current BCLS certification required.
At least three (3) years of nursing experience. Preferably 1-3 years experience in home health or related program with expertise in clinical/coverage issues. Ability to communicate well, to work with others, and to maintain a professional attitude.
