Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care develops and implements various activities to improve overall quality of organization. Participates in and serves as a resource to quality improvement committees. Being a Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care tracks and analyzes trends and outcome reports and advises management on areas to improve upon. May be responsible to ensure all institute or government regulations are adhered to. Additionally, Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Head Nurse - Quality Improvement - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. This hospital system is seeking an RN with a solid background in acute care hospital quality management, performance improvement, and accreditation.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the RN Director Hospital Quality will become responsible for oversight and management of all quality and performance improvement activities for the entire acute care facility. The Quality Improvement Nurse Director will prepare for The Joint Commission accreditation surveys, develop and implement hospital performance improvement measures, educate incoming staff on quality measures, and utilize hospital resources to achieve and maintain optimal standards of patient care. The Quality Management Nurse Director will work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure that quality assurance goals are met and exceeded.

    REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree BSN, Active Oklahoma State RN License, Master’s Degree highly preferred, 5 years of progressive acute care quality management experience, along with previous knowledge of CMS guidelines and TJC standards. CPHQ Certification would be an excellent asset but is not required.
