In the role of Head Teller, you will be responsible for engaging with and supporting customers both in-person and via telephone with a focus on building lasting relationships and customer loyalty through exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Include:
- Provide assistance and support to staff in dealing with customer problems. Assist in the resolution of particularly sensitive or complex problems.
- Supervise and direct paying and receiving activities of teller lines.
- Monitor cash held in branch and individual teller stations to minimize exposure to loss while assuring availability.
- Balance vault cash on a daily basis and perform periodic verifications of cash under dual control. Order and supervise inter- and intra-Bank cash shipments.
- Review teller outages on a regular basis, reinforcing training where necessary and taking other actions appropriate under the circumstances including reporting major discrepancies.
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy in customer service.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 2-3 years of experience of cash handling.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service
- Teller experience preferred
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
