Head Teller jobs in Provo, UT

Grand Valley Bank is looking to fill a full-time Teller position at our Vernal, UT, located at 121 W Main St, Vernal, UT, 84078. This position is scheduled for approximately 37 hours per week, with a Saturday rotation, and the flexibility to fill in as needed.

Tellers are responsible for providing excellent banking service to our customers in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a basic understanding of our banking products and services, accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, and fully complying with bank policies and regulations.

Applicants for this position should possess the following:

• Prior banking / customer service / cash handling experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent math skills; 10-key a plus
• Successful time-management and organizational habits, prioritizing punctuality and attendance
• Effective conflict-resolution and reasoning skills
• Excellent communication skills

ENVIRONMENT: This job takes place in an office setting, both sitting and standing behind the Teller line, with light to moderate physical lifting requirements.

COMPENSATION: Starting/pay rate salary is dependent upon relevant experience. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to: experience and educational background.
